I am an out-of-network provider. This means that instead of working directly for specific insurance companies, I work directly with you. If you choose to submit a claim to your insurance company, I will provide you with the necessary documentation each month.
I consider myself a generalist; I enjoy and look forward to working with individuals in therapy who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, behavioral issues, difficulties with self-esteem, painful family dynamics, relational challenges, navigating life transitions, feeling ‘stuck,’ and with those who wish to know more about themselves.
I provide psychological assessments for the purposes of understanding one’s level of psychological health, diagnostic clarification, and the classification of learning disabilities. These assessments are often used for individual academic services and accommodations within schools and higher educational institutions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia. I graduated from The George Washington University with a doctoral and master’s degree in clinical psychology. I completed my Pre-Doctoral Residency at The Psychiatric Institute of Washington. I have had extensive experience in individual and group therapy as well as in administering psychological assessments for the purposes of assessing one’s level of psychological health, diagnostic clarification, and the classification of learning disabilities.
I work with a Service Dog, Finn, who provides a gentle, loving presence that can be very comforting, anxiety reducing, and uplifting in sessions.
